A Vena Tech inferior vena cava filter and lumbosacral posterior spinal fusion hardware are present.

This is a conical filter with 6 legs, each attached to a flat side rail that lies against the cava wall. These act as vertical stabilizing struts. It is made of Phynox® wire (same alloy as Conichrome®).
