Presentation

History of several episodes of pelvic inflammatory disease. Work up for secondary infertility.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female

Left sided partial tubal occlusion is present, accompanied by intravasation of contrast medium in the uterine wall and pelvis.

The uterine cavity and the right fallopian tube are normal.

Case Discussion

A 30 years old patient with secondary infertility had several episodes of pelvic inflammatory disease, which is the most probable cause of tubal adhesions leading to tubal blockage and infertility.
