Sharply delineated lession with very high signal on T2 and avid enhancement from the periphery to the centre. Non-enhancing areas probably due to thrombotic material.
Case Discussion
This type of lesion is also labelled as a cavernous haemangioma in the pertinent literature. However unlike infantile haemangiomas, it is a congenital malformation, that does not regress spontaneously.
