Presentation
Lymphoma on treatment. Occipital headache with neck stiffness, for a few days, gradually getting worse. ITP, platelet count 4 when it started. Rule out bleed.

Venous sinus thrombosis and hemorrhagic infarct
Axial non-contrast

Moderate sized acute infarct in the right temporoparietal region with hemorrhagic transformation.
Dense right sigmoid and transverse sinus consistent with thrombus.
Case Discussion
This patient had a predisposition to dural sinus thrombosis.
This non-contrast CT head has the full house
- a dense sinus consistent with thrombus
- an acute infarct in a non-arterial territory
- hemorrhagic transformation of the infarct
