Dilatation of central ependymal canal at the lower thoracic cord and conus medullaris, extending over 45 mm with a transverse diameter of 5 mm. No cord edema is seen.
Case Discussion
The MRI feature is most consistent with a ventriculus terminalis (incidental finding).
The main differential diagnosis is the filar cyst which is located within the filum terminale.
