Presentation

Trauma.

Patient Data

Age: 20 years
Gender: Male
CT

Burst fracture of TH12 vertebral body with retropulsion to the spinal canal.
Fracture of the right lamina of TH12.
Anterior wedging of L2 vertebral body.
Rest of the vertebral bodies and posterior arch elements appear normal.

MRI

Burst fracture of TH12 vertebral body with retropulsion to the spinal canal, fracture of the right lamina of TH12 and traumatic spinal cord injury.
Anterior wedging of L2 vertebral body.
Rest of the vertebral bodies and posterior arch elements appear normal.

Case Discussion

Findings of a burst fracture of the TH12 vertebral body with retropulsion to the spinal canal and spinal cord injury and associated L2 compression fracture.
