Incidental finding in the thorax.

Patient Data

Gender: Female

CT Chest (bone window)

Typical appearance of a vertebral haemangioma, with thickening of the primary vertical weight trabeculae leading to corduroy appearance on lateral projection and salt and pepper appearance on axials.

Case Discussion

Vertebral haemangiomas are the most common benign vertebral neoplasm and are usually asymptomatic.
