As an incidental finding there is a nodular well defined lesion within the L1 vertebral body showing the typical signal pattern of a hemangioma: high signal on T1, bright on T2, which is partially suppressed on STIR, and there is also a mild peripheral contrast enhancement. 

Case Discussion

Vertebral hemangiomas are the most common benign vertebral tumors and are usually asymptomatic.
