Vertebral hemangioma (fat poor)

Low T1 signal (low fat content), high T2 signal mass involving most of the vertebral body and extending into the pedicle.

Case Discussion

Some hemangiomas are fat poor and can demonstrate more aggressive growth patterns including extra-osseous spread.
