The vertebral bodies signal is diffusely heterogeneous with areas of low signal permeating T1 and then enhancing after contrast administration. Along the middle levels of the thoracic spine there is an intracanal soft tissue mass compressing the spine circumferentially showing an intermediate signal on T1 and vivid contrast enhancement.

Case Discussion

Due to the clinic context of treatment for breast carcinoma the heterogenous signal in all the vertebral bodies are in keeping with bone metastatic disease. The intracanal and extra-axial thoracic mass is also likely to represent metastasis, intradural extramedullary metastases

We did not have access of further clinical data to confirm the diagnosis.
