Multiple round, air-filled, lucencies ranging from 1.8mm to 3.8mm, within the subchondral bone of the superior and inferior endplates of the C5 and C6 vertebral bodies.
Moderate hypertrophy and sclerosis of the uncovertebral joints C4/5, C5/6 and C6/7.
Moderate loss of disc height C4/5, C5/6 and C6/7.
Case Discussion
Gas filled lucencies in the vertebral bodies should be considered pneumatocysts, especially when accompanied by severe degenerative changes.
