40 years male with neck pain radiating to right shoulder

Patient Data

Age: 40 yrs
Gender: Male

There is a cystic space of air density within C3 vertebral body. There are degenerative changes involving the cervical spine.

Case Discussion

Vertebral pneumatocysts are air filled cavity within the vertebral body more common in the cervical spine. The cause of air within the bone is unknown but it is believe to extend from intradiscal air
