The left vertebral and basilar arteries are dilated by 5mm and 7mm, respectively.
Basilar artery has tortuous course, causing a pressure effect on the right 3rd cranial nerve medial to the right temporal lobe.
Case Discussion
Basilar artery normally is measuring less than 4.5 mm.
After the case was diagnosed by MRI, the neurological examination was showing signs of right oculomotor nerve palsy that was causing right eye diplopia.
