Right-sided flank pain.

Patient Data

Age: 20 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

5 mm calcific density at the right VUJ in keeping with a distal ureteric stone.

No upper tract stones.

The VUJ is the commonest site in the ureter for a stone to become lodged and cause obstruction.
