4mm stone at the left VUJ.
No renal stones projected over the kidneys or line of the right ureter.
Case Discussion
Small distal left ureteric stone - the commonest site for an obstructing ureteric stone.
Less than 5mm stones typically are treated conservatively and pass spontaneously.
If dense on plain radiograph or scanogram of a CT-KUB follow up with plain radiograph imaging is sufficient.
It is good practice when reporting a stone on CT-KUB to inform the referrer if it is visible on plain radiograph for follow up purposes.
