Total opacification of the left eye globe shows heterogeneous hyperdense left vitreous, matching with acute vitreous haemorrhage. Fracture of the left lamina papyracea with medially displaced medial rectus muscle with herniated intraorbital fat and fine air loculi into the related ethmoid. Another fracture of the left orbital floor with associated corresponding haemosinus.
Case Discussion
Post-traumatic vitreous haemorrhage occurs when a blood vessel ruptures and bleeds into the vitreous humour.
