There is an avulsion fracture at the middle phalanx base on the palmar side. Bone flake is less than 2 mm in size. It shows about 1 mm elevation / the proximal retraction from its donor site. There is mild effusion in the proximal interphalangeal joint. Flexure and extensor tendons are normal.
The asymptomatic finger shows a normal volar plate at the proximal interphalangeal joint.
