Case Discussion

MR images show a large calculus in common bile duct with proximally dilated biliary tree. Multiple peripherally placed cystic lesions measuring less than 1.5 cm are seen scattered in liver parenchyma. No obvious communication with biliary tree is seen. Most of the cysts have irregular outline and no enhancement is seen on post-contrast images.

No cystic lesions could be demonstrated in kidneys.

Diagnosis of von Meyenburg complex (multiple biliary hamartomas) with choledocholithiasis was made.
