The MRI sequences demonstrate:
- innumerable small non-communicating cystic lesions of the liver less than 7 mm, scattered in both hepatic lobes of high signal on T2 with no enhancement on postcontrast sequences
- small simple cyst of the pancreatic head (8 mm) not communicating with the pancreatic ducts (incidental finding)
- left renal cyst (6 x 3.8 x 3.4 cm)
- normal gallbladder, intra-and extrahepatic biliary ducts
Case Discussion
MRI features are most consistent with von Meyenburg complexes also known as Multiple biliary hamartomas (incidental findings in this case).
