Wandering spleen

The spleen is lower in position, located at the left lumbar region, below the body of the stomach in keeping with wandering spleen. The spleen is of homogeneous normal density and texture.
Case Discussion
Wandering spleen is a rare condition that raises the possibility of splenic torsion. It is usually discovered in 20~40 years and is more common in women. Treatment of uncomplicated cases is by splenopexy.
