The CT scan demonstrates:
- ileocolorectal intussusception located on the left side of the abdomen
- the small bowel is predominantly on the right and the large bowel predominantly to the left of midline with an abnormal position of the SMV around the SMA in keeping with intestinal malrotation (intestinal nonrotation)

This entity has been rarely described in the literature. The mobile right colon in the intestinal malrotation may be considered as a predisposing factor intussusception 1.
The key to the diagnosis is the location of the intussusception on the left side of the abdomen, which should lead to malrotation (case confirmed at surgery).
