Case Discussion

Wavy thymus incidentally seen on a neonate.

The lungs are hyperinflated. There is some interstitial thickening bilaterally but there are no major areas of collapse or consolidation. Pleural spaces are dry. There is no air leak. There is no underlying cardiovascular abnormality with the arch being left sided and the trachea, adequately patent. The visualized bones are unremarkable.
