Cholestatic liver function tests.
Patient Data
Previous cholecystectomy. There is no intra or extrahepatic bile duct dilatation. No choledocholithiasis.
The pancreas is unremarkable with no pancreatic head mass identified. The pancreatic duct is mildly tortuous and ectatic in the pancreatic head measuring up to 4mm. No intraductal lesion or cystic pancreatic lesion. The pancreatic duct caliber measures 3mm in the neck and body which is at the upper limit of normal.
Mild hepatic steatosis. Small renal and splenic cysts. Normal adrenals and visualized bowel.
Case Discussion
The distal pancreatic duct is mildly tortuous and ectatic in the pancreatic head measuring up to 4mm. Appearances are typical for a Wirsungocele.
