Worsening of a superficial femoral artery occlusion

Rest pain in the left leg.

Patient Data

Age: 75
Gender: Male

Multiple stenoses and occlusion of the left superficial femoral artery and occlusion of the right femoral artery.

Modality: DSA (angiography)

Three days after the MRI the occlosion was now far more proximal and endovascular treatment was dismissed in favour of open surgery (femoro-popliteal bypass).
