Case Discussion

The history and clinical examination in this case is very important as it's the only thing to confirm the diagnosis.

In cases of partial ganglion cyst rupture, it's possible you will see dorsal pericapsular soft tissue edema signal associated with small collapsed ganglion cyst, while in complete rupture, the soft tissue edema can be the only thing there radiologically; the diagnosis will only be confirmed by a clinical history of a mass that suddenly vanished in the same region.
