Salter-Harris fracture - type I (distal radius)

Diagnosis almost certain

Patient Data

Age: 13 years
Gender: Male

On the lateral projection the epiphysis has slipped dorsally consistent with a Salter-Harris type I growth plate injury. A small amount of periosteum and bone as lifted but without a clear bony fracture to make it a Salter-Harris type II.
