Presenters
Associate Professor Frank Gaillard is a neuroradiologist at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. After obtaining his FRANZCR in 2009, Frank completed two years of fellowship training in neuroradiology at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Vancouver General Hospital. In addition to his work as a clinical neuroradiologist, he has research interests in brain tumor imaging, multiple sclerosis, neurodegenerative disease and computer-aided diagnosis. Professor Peter Mitchell is a diagnostic and interventional neuroradiologist at the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) where he is director of the NeuroIntervention Service. He is Head of Endovascular Clot Retrieval Statewide Service at RMH, and President of the Australian & New Zealand Society of Neuroradiology (ANZSNR). Peter is a world leader in endovascular management of stroke and was a co-principal investigator and author of the EXTEND-IA trial published in NEJM in March 2015.
