In-person Event

One day case-based review of emergency radiology with radiologists Dr Andrew Dixon and Assoc Prof Craig Hacking in Brisbane on Saturday 3 September 2022, 8.30AM - 4.00PM. Learn how to detect important pathologies on x-ray and CT, and how to avoid common interpretation pitfalls. 

This interactive course is targeted at non-radiologists and is ideal for health professionals (doctors and non-doctors) involved in the care of emergency patients. Registration includes bonus online access to two Radiopaedia learning pathways (details below). Full refund if event cancelled or if you cannot attend due to COVID.

Video Recording

It is our intention to attempt to record this course in Melbourne. If this works out, then all in-person attendees will receive 12 months access to the recordings. Obviously we can't guarantee this, but we have our fingers crossed.

Presenters

Dr Andrew Dixon (@DrAndrewDixon) is a radiologist and co-Director of Radiology Training at Melbourne's Alfred Hospital, one of Australia's leading trauma hospitals. He is recognised both locally and internationally as an engaging radiology educator particularly in the areas of trauma and emergency imaging. In addition to his academic director role with Radiopaedia.org, Andrew has founded the Radiology Channel on YouTube and is a convenor of the Radiopaedia annual virtual conference. 

Associate Professor Craig Hacking (@drcraighacking) is a radiologist at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with a special interest in trauma and emergency radiology, radiologic anatomy and education. He is the Academic Lead for Clinical Radiology at the University of Queensland and has previously served as the Lead Anatomy Examiner for the RANZCR and executive committee member for the Australian and New Zealand Emergency Radiology Society (ANZERG).

Terms and conditions

Full refund available if the event is cancelled or if you cannot attend due to COVID.  For other cancellations, a full refund less $100 administration fee/online access fee is available if received more than 10 days prior to the event. No refund is available for cancellations received within 10 days of the event, except if COVID related. All cancellation requests should be emailed to [email protected].  While we don't expect any major change to the conference program, we reserve the right to change the scheduled program. Bonus online learning pathway access and any video access extends for 12 months after the event date.
