Audio transcript

Welcome to this learning pathway exploring the radiographic interpretation of the hand. My name is Andrew Murphy. I'm a senior editor at Radiopaedia and I'll be guiding you through this course. I've created this learning pathway to appeal to a broad audience, from radiology trainees to radiographers. The pathway is split into anatomical sections and explores in detail the common fractures and complications of hand injuries one would encounter in the emergency department. To ensure you are retaining what you've learnt there are review quizzes throughout, with a large multicase review quiz to finish, complete with individually annotated answers. Upon completion of this course, you should be able to approach your hand radiographs with confidence, equipped with a more thorough understanding of both the typical injuries of the hand and the mechanisms that often lead to them.
