Large congenital diaphragmatic hernia with intrathoracic position of intestines and liver. Right lung turned out to be hypoplastic.
Operative closure of the diaphragmatic defect. Initially only skin was closed because of a mismatch between abdominal cavity volume and contents, increasing the risk of abdominal compartment syndrome, hence leaving an abdominal wall hernia.
Pulmonary hypertension disappeared. Abdominal wall to be closed later.
