Annular pancreas is a result of ventral bud non-rotation resulting in varying degrees of encasement of duodenum by the pancreas. Complete annular pancreas presents in neonates with obstruction and can be incidentally found in adults, as in our case. Pancreatitis can be a presenting feature in adults.
