1. Bilateral FLAIR hyperintense putamina are noted. 2. The lateral aspect of the putamina are delineated by the hyperintense oedematous external capsules. 3. The medial aspect of the putamina are delineated by the hyperintense oedematous internal capsules. 4. The posterior aspect of the putamina are delineated by the fusion of the hyperintense oedematous internal and external capsules. 5. This imaging appearance constitutes the "lentiform fork sign" 6. A focal area of R posterior cortical hyperintensity is noted.
