There are confluent T2 hyperintensities in bilateral periventricular and subcortical white matter, corpus callosum, which appear hypointense on T1, and do not show restricted diffusion or blooming on gradient. Mild volume loss with associated ex-vacuo dilatation of the left lateral ventricle is seen.
