Extensive hypodensities in thalamus, cerebellum, brain stem, mesencephalon and pons, consistent with ischaemia. Dense vessel sign of the basliar artery. Ventricles symmetrical and non-dilated. Normal gyration. No indication of haemorrhage.
Modality: CT (non-contrast)

- “ Extensive ischaemia of the posterior circulation due to an occlusion of the basilar artery. Patient died after extubation. ”
