CT day 3 A new CT scan is made on the 3d day after admission because of unexplained hemoglobin loss. The ulcer in the achr is now more clearly demonstrated, it seems to be perforating to the media. The aortic wall has somewhat thickened compared to the previous scan, and a mild enhancement of the media is seen throughout the descending aorta. Additional findings are partial atelectasis in left lower lung base and pleural fluid.
