Patient with history of alcohol abuse and recurrent pancreatitis. Patient was complaining of five days of right upper abdominal pain and found to have mildly elevated lipase levels 136 U/L (normal range 16-58 U/L). The imagining findings are highly suggestive of paraduodenal pancreatitis (preferred to the older term groove pancreatitis).
