Introduction

This is an overview of chest x-ray interpretation, it assumes a basic understanding of chest anatomy and pathology.

It is part one of a two-part series.

Part one:
A very basic presentation that outlines the search strategy that is thorough and some common pathologies that are seen day-to-day in radiology departments.
This basic overview does not cover complex radiological image interpretation, nor does it delve into the various differential diagnoses that accompany every pathology outlined here.
