Poland syndrome (congenital absence of the pectoralis muscle) is a rare developmental disorder. It occurs in about 1/20,000 - 1/50,000 live births. It frequently includes the presence of other deformities include ipsilateral syndactyly. Right side is more commonly involved than the left and males predominate.
