What does the yellow arrow indicate?
Left adrenal nodule, most likely a haematoma given the density and adjacent traumatic injuries.
How could you prove it it is an adrenal haematoma?
Compare to previous imaging. If not available then a follow-up study is indicated, and resolution confirms it is a haematoma.
- Blue arrow = linear hypodensity through oedematous pancreatic tail reflecting a pancreatic laceration.
- Yellow arrow = left adrenal nodule, presumably a haematoma.
- Red arrow = peripancreatic fluid, fat stranding and haematoma.
