Pericardial calcifications have an impact on patient's survival.
Predictors of poor overall survival are prior radiation, worsened renal function, higher pulmonary artery systolic pressure, abnormal left ventricular systolic function, lower serum sodium level, and older age. Pericardial calcification have no impact on survival.
