The findings are compatible with an ovarian teratoma, showing fat and soft tissue attenuation contents. It is the most common ovarian neoplasm. Since, the lesion doesn't seem to have any calcification or mature ectodermal structure, some people prefer to call this kind of lesion 'an ovarian dermoid'. For the sake of overlapping morphology, radiologists can choose to say either of these, however histologically, a teratoma would have mesodermal and endodermal element, while dermoid cyst would have dermal and epidermal element.
