What is the difference between a ventricular pseudoaneurysm and an aneurysm?
A pseudoaneurysm is a false aneurysm which results from contained myocardial rupture, and is a rare complication of a myocardial infarction, whereas an aneurysm contains all normal layers of the heart wall.
AICD in situ. Curvilinear calcification superimposed on the left ventricle is noted.
