Axial images were obtained after contrast. Oral contrast was also administered. Moderate haemoperitoneum is present. Pancreas appears swollen. Evidence of pancreatic injury is seen in the region of the neck. A decrease in vascular enhancement and low attenuation areas seen in the head, uncinate process, body and tail of pancreas. All these findings are most likely due to pancreatic transection.
