Distal colocolic intussusception due to lipoma, epiploic appendagitis

Discussion:

Relatively subtle incidental colocolic intussusception involving the descending and sigmoid colon, with a small lipoma serving as the lead point. A CT from 5 years earlier confirms that the lipoma was from the distal descending colon.

The patient had epiploic appendagitis to account for the acute presentation of left lower quadrant pain.
