Axial C+ portal venous phase
CT shows a mesenteric haematoma with a small central hyperdense focus ("blush") representing active bleeding. This blush probably comes from the ileocolic branch of the superior mesenteric artery. There is also a small haemoperitoneum. The small bowel is normal. No fracture or laceration are seen.
