What are the three principle causes for an acute problem with the liver graft?
(1) Ischaemia; (2) infection; (3) acute cellular rejection (can occur months or years after transplant, but is more commonn in the early post-transplant phase).
There is an ill-defiend lucency projected over the liver. The appearances are not typical for either pneumobilia or portal venous gas. There is no evicence of Chilaiditi syndrome.
