In the right medial temporal lobe, an area of marked haemosiderin deposition is associated with 'blooming artifact'.
The lesion measures 7.8 x 9.3 x 8.3 mm.
The imaging features remain entirely consistent with an incidental cavernoma.
There has been no change in the hippocampal formation, with a small hippocampal fissure remnant cyst (not shown).
Targeted post contrast imaging reveals no evidence of associated developmental venous anomaly, although there is marked focal enhancement seen centrally.
IMPRESSION:
Right medial temporal cavernoma.
