Osteoid osteoma
Discussion:
Osteoid osteoma is a benign bone lesion that usually present with pain especially at night that relieved by aspirin:
- on CT it is usually seen as a central sclerotic area, with lucency surrounding reactive bone formation
- on MRI the sclerotic area appears as low T1 and T2 signal intensities and the nidus is low on T1, high on T2 with enhancement post contrast administration
