True / False - T1 and T2 weighted MRI in acute venous thrombosis will show hyperintense venous sinuses ?
False. In acute thrombosis the venous sinuses show iso-hypointensity which mimics flow void (though if carefully noted, it is slightly different shade of gray). MRV will help in such cases.
Hyperdense bilateral transverse, straight and superior sagittal sinuses. Hyperdensity in the left parietal sulcal space.
Subtle hypodensity in the right parasagittal frontal lobe with subtle hyperdense areas.
