Bilateral distal clavicular erosion

Discussion:

The erosion or absence of the lateral ends of the clavicles may be seen in hyperparathyroidism, rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma and cleidocranial dysostosis. Other causes are post-traumatic osteolysis, myeloma, metastases and osteomyelitis which are usually unilateral.
